Ntouskos wins single sculls gold at Tokyo Olympics

Stefanos Ntouskos won the men’s single sculls gold medal to claim the country’s first medal of the Tokyo Games.
Ntouskos won the 4th Olympic medal for Greece in the history of rowing and the first gold.
Ntouskos is a medical student who said he would not be competing in future games, as he is not sponsored and all costs are borne by himself and his family.
