An earthquake was recorded at 2:24 (12.24 GMT) on Tuesday, roughly 90 kilometers northeast of Athens, in the central part of the large island of Evia.
The tremor was felt in the greater Athens area.
The specific region has recorded significant seismic activity over the past few months.
