Polish man arrested after killing fellow Pole during argument in Ambelokipi

A 60-year-old Polish man killed a fellow Pole, 45, during an argument on Easter Sunday in the Ambelokipi neighborhood of Athens.
The Hellenic Police said that shortly after 22:00, the older man broke into an argument with the younger man in a house on Vernardaki street. Both had been heavily drinking. The older man took a kitchen knife and killed the 45-year-old in the presence of a woman who was a witneat the house.
The 60-year-old was expected to appear before a magistrate on Easter Monday.
