The most popular purchase of electronic devices is mobile phones, with Greece ahead of the average of the other 18 countries in a relevant study and coming in 5th place in the market for mobile devices in the last 12 months, according to the new research by Focus Bari entitled "The Evolving Electronics Market' conducted by the YouGov network.
Specifically, 44% of the respondents answered that they bought a mobile phone lats year, 22% a television, 17% a computer / laptop and smart watch, 15% a tablet and 10% speakers.
Basic selection criteria in Greece and internationally are the price and the characteristics of the device, as well as the design, especially for young people.
Environmental friendliness
On the other hand, environmental friendliness seems to play a minor role, as the prevailing view is that devices that help the planet are more expensive.
At the same time, consumers are divided because while environmental protection is of increasing importance, the features of an electronic device brand are also important to a large portion of consumers, distinguishing countries into three groups in this comparison: those that attach greater importance to envoronmental friendliness and less to features (Greece among them), equal importance between eco-friendliness and eatures, and those that attach greater importance to features (the USA among them)
Greece is also included in the group of countries where consumers give more importance to the environment, which shows that the importance of environmental protection as a selection criterion for future purchases of electronic devices shows an increasing trend in our country.
Greeks also noted that price was the chief driving force for their purchase and will be so in the future, with second being desired features, which will also be the second factor in the future.
