During his visit to Saint Demetrios of Astoria in NY, Stefanos Kasselakis, the newly-elected President of SYRIZA, told New Greek TV he got married to his partner Tyler in Brooklyn Town Hall on Thursday. Kasselakis said they had a celebratory lunch at Dumbo after the ceremony.
While in New York, Kasselakis has various events planned with the Omogeneia. On Friday, he visited the Greek School of Saint Demetrios in Astoria and will also be attending a gathering with members of SYRIZA in the United States in Tribeca. On Saturday, he will attend an event at Kefalonitiko Spiti, open to the Omogeneia.
