Convicted rapist out on bail kills eleven year old near Pyrgos

A 37-year-old man was brought in as a suspect for the child's disappearance, and confessed to the heinouscrime.

The arrested and confessed murderer, according to information, had been convicted in the past for attempted rape of a minor, specifically in 2017.

Information indicates that the 37-year-old was arrested for raping a minor girl under 15 years old. He was sentenced to 9 years in prison, but was out on parole to report to the police station in his area of ​​residence.

The perpetrator, after his confession, led the police, at 3:40 p.m., to the location of Katarrahi in the Municipality of Andravidas-Kyllini and indicated the location of Kalamonas.

There is video footage showing the girl getting into the assailant's car of his own free will. Then, according to the information, the perpetrator took it to a field, where he stabbed it in the neck.

The medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine whether there was sexual abuse and rape.
