New details are being released about the 39-year-old Turk who was shot dead last night in the Kypseli area by unknown gunmen.
According to what has been made known, the bloody incident occurred shortly after 8:00 PM at the intersection of Patision Street and Lesvou Street. In addition to the 39-year-old Turk who was shot dead, a passerby was also injured in the shooting, who was shocked by what he saw.
It is noted that the 39-year-old fell dead in a pool of blood. Strong police forces and an EKAB ambulance immediately arrived at the scene, with the images, as captured in the video-documentary published yesterday by iefimerida.gr, being particularly brutal.
Who was the 39-year-old Turk who was killed
Police sources report that the main scenario of the execution seems to have been the 39-year-old's connection to drug cases. In fact, the victim had been arrested in 2022, as a red notice for drugs had been issued against him by Turkey, but he was later probably released.
As reported by police sources, the 39-year-old appears to have been parking his car when a vehicle with two occupants approached him and opened fire on him, fatally wounding him.
So far, the Police have located four shell casings at the scene of the attack, while the investigation to identify and arrest the two perpetrators is ongoing, with the Authorities searching for footage from security cameras.
