Koropi: Large fire in "Karamolegos" factory, Apollonion logistics facilities burned

The large fire that broke out yesterday Tuesday at the "Karamolegos" factory in Koropi, completely destroyed the logistics facilities of the Apollonion company.
On Tuesday afternoon (at 17:45) the first flames began to rise from the "Karamolegos" facilities in Koropi, and the fire then quickly took on uncontrollable proportions.
The flames immediately engulfed the two-story metal building on Hephaestus Street, and fortunately no human lives were endangered.
Karamolegos: “Luckily we were able to get out and we all got out”
“Luckily we were able to get out and we all got out,” the owner of the unit, Manolis Karamolegos, told reporters, thanking the Fire Department.
“The Fire Department arrived immediately. I really thank them, and all our people, who ran to put out the fire. The logistics facilities of the Apollonion company were completely burned down,” Mr. Karamolegos added.
Karamolegos is one of Greece's largest companies for standardized baked goods. apollonion is a subsidiary sandwich andbake goos chain.
