Woman given wrong blood type in transfusion in critical condition

A 62-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was mistakenly given a blood transfusion intended for another patient at Tzaneio Hospital, according to reports.
The alarming medical error occurred Wednesday morning.
The woman, who was not scheduled to receive a transfusion, reportedly suffered multiple strokes shortly after the procedure.
Her condition was described as critical following the incident.
Hospital officials at Tzaneio Hospital have not yet released an official statement regarding the grave error. Authorities are actively seeking the unidentified nurse involved in the mistaken transfusion.
Police are working to locate the nurse to determine the circumstances that led to the severe oversight.
