Fire on Marathonos Avenue in Rafina - 112 message for evacuation of three settlements

A fire broke out on Thursday afternoon (3/7) in low vegetation on Marathonos and Arionos Avenues in Rafina near houses.
In fact, a message was sent from 112 to those in the areas of Agia Kyriaki, Etos Steko and Imeros Pefkos to evacuate via Agia Kyriaki Marathonos Avenue to Artemis Stadium.
Due to the fire, there is a disruption in vehicle traffic on Marathonos Avenue from its junction with Fleming Street, traffic towards Athens, and on Marathonos Avenue from its junction with Agios Dimitrios Street, traffic towards Marathon.
90 firefighters were mobilized with 15 vehicles, 6 teams on foot, volunteers, 2 aircraft and 3 helicopters. Local water authorities are providing assistance.
