Larissa: Man threatened his family with a knife - He attacked and injured three police officers

A serious incident occurred on Monday night in Tyrnavos, Larissa, when a man who allegedly suffers from psychological problems threatened his family with a knife, raising an alarm to the authorities.
In particular, according to information from TirnavosPress.gr, the police officers who rushed to the scene were attacked while attempting to disarm him, resulting in a fierce fight. Three police officers were injured in the incident, who were transferred to the Tyrnavos Health Center, where they were provided with first aid. Fortunately, all are in good health.
The man was arrested in Larissa
The man, who according to the same sources had previously been of concern to the authorities and had recently been released from prison, was arrested after a tense standoff that lasted for quite some time.
During the incident, his daughter allegedly reacted violently towards the police officers, insulting them, resulting in her also being arrested.
Father and daughter are being held at the Tyrnavos Police Station, while the Larissa Security Sub-Directorate has taken over the preliminary investigation into the incident.
