A 32-year-old woman from Chios was taken to an Athens hospital after being injured by a rocket in Vrontado on Easter Sunday.
The woman was going to the church of Agios Markos with members of her family when she was hit in the jaw by a rocket, according to public broadcaster ERT.
The 32-year-old suffered a crushing fracture and it was deemed necessary to treat the incident by a maxillofacial surgeon.
Due to the lack of this specialty at the Chios hospital, she was transferred to an Athens hospital and underwent surgery, according to the same information.
