Police pursuit with gunfire in Argos - The 20-year-old is fighting for his life

In the video, which was shown on Mega's afternoon news, police vehicles are seen stopping on the road and pursuing the young man who did not stop at the signal of the authorities.

The 20-year-old is being treated at Thriasio Hospital, intubated in an extremely critical condition.

The incident began when the young man, who was driving on Pyrgela Street, did not stop at a police checkpoint. Then, attempting to escape, he sped up. The man in the car attempted to drag away police officers who were outside the vehicle, who avoided him by falling onto the road.

Then, the chase began with the driver driving dangerously, even passing in the opposite direction.

During the chase, the young man rammed two patrol cars in order to escape.

The chase lasted for about half an hour, until the young man's vehicle ended up in a supermarket. The 25-year-old fled from the supermarket parking lot, he jumped a metal railing and went to an adjacent plot where there is an abandoned building.

He then climbed a concrete ramp of the building and finally ended up on the ground.

The police saw him fall, believing that the blood he had was from the fall. The young man was taken to the hospital by the authorities.

The competent Prosecutor was informed of the incident and two police officers were arrested.
