Greece gets record Serb tourist surge

More than 700,000 Serb tourists, about 70% of all Serbs traveling abroad chose Greece as a destination, in 2013, according to Macedonia-Thrace minister Theodoros Karaoglou.
According to Mr. Karaoglou, in 2013 there was an increase in tourism from Serbia by 39.24% in Thesssaloniki and by 10% in the Halkidiki Peninsula.
Mr Karaoglou was present at the inauguration of the 36th International Tourism fair in Belgrade, in which Greece was amply represented.
