World renown Greek tenor Marios Frangoulis will appear for two shows at the Rose Theatre - Jazz at Lincoln Center, on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 March.
Mario Frangoulis, the Classical Crossover artist and tenor, returns to New York for two concerts, after record demand for tickets forced organizers to host a second performance. After playing Marius in Les Miserables, and Raoul in Phantom of the Opera, he held top positions on Billboard's charts. Voted "Best Male Classical Crossover Artist 2011,” Frangoulis can interpret everything from arias to rock anthems - in five languages.
Originally, the Greek artist was planned to sing just on Friday, but the second concert will more of Frangoulis' fans the chance to hear older and more recent hits from the golden voice of the emblematic tenor.
Thus, Frangoulis is expected to satisfy his Greek and American friends, as he has often appeared in New York, where he has taken to the stage solo, or accompanied by Greek and international music stars.
Both concerts will be taking place at the Rose Theatre - Jazz at Lincoln Center (Broadway & 60th Street New York, NY). If you will be in New York and wish to attend the performances can book tickets at (001-212) 7216500 and online at jalc.org/events. Tickets prices are $50, $75, $100, $150, and $500
