"The Greek Monster" Hits New York
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
“The Greek Monster” exhibition will be presented by award winning-group “Beetroot” at the Olympic Tower Atrium in New York this fall.
Strange, shocking, unpredictable, the monsters of Greek mythology are antiheroes who have inspired such authors as Hesiod, Homer, Plato, Aristophanes, Shakespeare, Wilde, and Gide, and such artists as Rubens, Goya, Ingres, and Picasso, as well as fascinating countless generations all around the world.
Presented for the first time in the United States, “The Greek Monsters,” created by the award-winning design group Beetroot, is an exhibition in which the monsters of Greek mythology get to tell their stories!
