Ship sinks in mysterious conditions off Crete
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The motorship Agia Marina sank this morning 30 miles west of the island of Crete.
The ship's cargo still remains unknown. A Super Puma rescue helicopter, a coastguard ship and five cargo vessels that were near the area have approached the ship to offer aid.
Four members of the crew, possibly Russians, were rescued while three more remain missing. The search was continuing as dusk fell.
