Venizelos in NY

Government vice president and foreign minister Evangelos Venizelos is in New York today in order to represent Greece in the initial phases of the 68th General Assembly of the United Nations.
While in NY, Mr. Venizelos will be meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and will also participate in a tripartite meeting between Greece, Cyprus, and Egyptian delegations expected to deal with energy issues.
Mr. Venizelos will also be sitting at a dinner of several foreign ministers to discuss the situation in the Middle East.
Finally, he will participate in three high level meetings at UN headquarters, within the week, and will address the General Assembly on Friday 27 September.
