- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Cooperative dairy producers EVOL is looking into establishing a production unit for organic yogurt in collaboration with a Greek-American entrepreneur that has a relevant distribution network in Florida.
EVOL has recently invested 6.5 million euros for a new pasteurization and bottling unit capable of producing 100 tons of milk per eight -hour shift.
The new production unit that will create 35 new jobs was funded through the "Alexandros Baltatzis" program with the rest of the investment covered through own funds, without recourse to loans.
EVOL has accepted offer for exports to Qatar, while there are prospects of synergies with French cheese makers looking for goat milk.
