Fifty Five Properties Slated for Privatizations

The new list of property assets to be “developed”, in other words privatized in some way, or another, has been finalized and posted on the government gazette. The assets will be transferred to state asset privatization fund TAIPED.
Among the 55 properties posted, there are some prime real estate cuts worth tens of millions of euros. Among them, the famed Xenia hotels of old, the Zea marina (pictured), the Parnassus ski center, and more than 30 properties from Rhodes to Plaka in downtown Athens. The list is as follows:

A plot of 11.1 million square meters on Parnassus. TAIPED is now invested withn the authority to give third parties the rights to exploit the ski center including buildings and facilities.

A piece of real estate on Manhattan's 47th Avenue, in the “The 3 Dag Condominium.”

An agricultural plot of the Kassandra correctional facility with an area of nearly 3 million square meters at the area called Metochi Stavronikita, in Sani, Chalkidiki.

A plot of 119,607 square meters at Souda, Chania, on Crete.

The former mental hospital of I.M. Petras, on Mt Olympus, with a total area of 21.3 million square meters, in Katerini prefecture.

Three properties belonging to the Epirus regional health system at Ampelokipoi, Ioannina prefecture, and five more at Agios Nikolas, Kopana.

A building belonging belonging to the Kerkyra Psychiatric, at Psychiatrist Tsirigotis Square, of a total area of 17,365 square meters.

Two plots 398.33 and 201.43 square meters in area in Plaka, on Ragava

The Zea marina.

The Cape Sounio Aspro Lithari property with an area of 383,000 square meters, with the exception of the beachfront in front of the property.

The XENIA Palace hotel on Akronafplia (on a plot of 24,900 square meters), the ΞΕΝΙΑ Amphitrion and the Xenia Nafplion hotels.

A piece of real estate at Ktima Skalas, at Skotina, Pieria prefecture, with a total area of 401,120 square meters, excluding the beachfront and the forested area.
