Weapons in Pappas Home
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
A pistol and a revolver, both unlicensed, a bayonet, four old copies of the New Testament, two WWII German helmets (one with SS markings), bottles of wine with Mussolini on the label and 75 data CDs were confiscated by police after a search of the house of Golden Dawn MP Christos Pappas in Ioannina.
The three New Testaments may be subject to laws on antiquities.
Meanwhile, three police officers were placed on suspension after cases were opened against them for illegal possession of ammunition and other objects that come under laws on weapons.
The three officers, that served as guards for Nikos Mihaloliakos and another Golden Dawn deputy, were arrested.
Also, a 29 year old was arrested in Rethymno, Crete, after he was found to be carrying 10 fireworks, a stiletto, and Golden Dawn printed material.
