Kikilias Heralds Fight Against Terrorism
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Citizen protection minister Vasilis Kikilias has heralded new successes in the fight against terrorism.
In an interview with Ethos Sunday Edition, Mr Kikilias noted that the fight against terrorism is ongoing and arduous and stated he will work hard for a “human effective police force.”
At the same time the minister attacked Golden Dawn noting that “a strong stance is necessary against anything that conspires against our democracy, against any sort of of abhorrent behavior, that attempts through false masks to exploit citizens' difficulties and the tolerance of the state and democracy itself.”
Answering a question as to whether his visits to police precincts and services serve communications purposes, Mr Kikilias noted that “the minister cannot be in his office and demand that officers are in the street. All together we are where citizens need us.”
