A mini-alarm was sounded at El. Venizelos Airport on Thursday afternoon, when an aircraft taking off from the airport reported a security alert.

A woman, 30, who had keys to the apartment in the Ambelokipi district of Athens that was destroyed by a home-made bomb on Thursday, was arrested on her arrival at the Athens International Airport on Monday.

The 14-year-old girl from Iraq, who was in protective custody in our country, was handed over to her mother, as she had been reported missing.

The minor arrived at "Eleftherios Venizelos" airport yesterday, 26/8, at 18.15, together with a 42-year-old man, also Iraqi, on a flight from Abu Dhabi.

The 42-year-old presented the child as his daughter. However, during the border control, it was found that he had a pending decision corresponding to the European Arrest Warrant, Finland's S.I.Re.N.E Department for child abduction, deprivation of personal liberty, human trafficking and rape.

At the same time, for the little girl during the border control it turned out that she is registered as a missing minor, showing her real details.

The 42-year-old was arrested and is being brought before the prosecutor.
