The Hellenic Navy has officially received "Kimon", the first Greek Belharra frigate, after an emblematic ceremony held on Thursday at the Naval GROUP shipyard in Lorient, France.

"The Navy is a structural pillar of our Defense and its strengthening through the "Agenda 2030" is not a simple upgrade of its capabilities."

Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias is currently in France, accompanied by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA), General Dimitrios Choupis, and the Chief of the Hellenic Navy (GEN), Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Katara, for the launch ceremony of the FDI HN frigate “Formion.”
