Standard & Poor's raised Public Power Corporation’s (PPC) credit rating to B- from CCC+ with a stable outlook, following a decision to raise the Hellenic Republic’s credit rating.

Standard & Poor's on Wednesday raised Hellenic Telecommunication Organization's (OTE) long-term credit rating to BBB- with a positive outlook, offering the telecoms company an investment grade.

Canadian credit rating firm DBRS enhanced Greece's long-term credit rating to a "B", from a previous ranking of "CCC", along with a better grade of "stable" from "negative" regarding its rating outlook, according to reports.
