Senior students of Rheingauschule highs school from Geisenheim, a city near Hessen, west of Frankfurt in Germany, were taken on a guided tour of the Mausoleum and the Nazi Victims Museum in Distomo in Boeotia in Greece.

An event commemorating the 74th anniversary of the Distomo village massacre was held over the weekend in the south-central Greek mainland town of the same name, where Nazi occupation troops executed 218 civilians in 1944.

Investigators of the Counter-terrorism unit of the Greek police are looking for the hideout of three armed robbers from the National Bank of Greece branch in Distomo, Viotia, on Friday afternoon.
