Barrage of Turkish airspace violations continue in eastern Aegean

Numerous violations of Greek airspace and infringements of Athens FIR regulations by intruding Turkish warplanes were reported on Tuesday throughout the eastern Aegean, with a total of 23 fighter planes involved, 15 of which were armed, according to Greek military sources.

Greek Justice blocks uncontrolled construction on Aegean islands

Grrek Justice is putting a "brake" on uncontrolled construction in Aegean islands. A new decision by the Piraeus Court of Appeal cancels a building permit for a hotel investment on the spectacular beach of Vlychada in Santorini. It was preceded by two decisions of the Council of State (CoS) for Paros and Mykonos, which highlight the bearing capacity of the islands as a "key" for the expansion of settlements or the promotion of tourism investment plans and not the pressures of housing development they receive.
