The course of the Greek programme and the issue of the debt relief will be discussed at the europarliament plenum in September, said europarliament vice president and SYRIZA MEP Dimitris Papadimoulis to radio "Praktoreio 104.9" on Friday.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) insists on the need for a generous debt relief which can only be achieved with particularly favourable repayment terms on existing loans.

At a meeting with the world΄s top five economic organizations, German Chancellor Angela Merkel called on the IMF to remain part of Greek bailout efforts as worries about a new debt crisis appeared stronger.
