Νational Economy and Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis on Thursday sent three strong messages of intensive market inspections, of decisive moves to combat fuel smuggling and of no more delays in installing POS terminals throughout the market.

National Economy and Finance Ministser Kostis Hatzidakis referred to the six axes of the economic policy the government intends to implement over its four-years term, speaking on Friday at 'The Third Thessaloniki Metropolitan Summit'. He pointed out that "the wager is to accelerate the pace and essentially converge with the EU average in terms of income."

The new Minister of National Economy and Finance Kostis Hatzidakis will have a full discussion with the Governor of the Bank of Greece Yiannis Stournaras this afternoon.
