Hellenic Air Force evacuates 22 Greeks and 38 Cypriots from Lebanon

The C-130 aircraft of the Hellenic Air Force, which was in Lebanon to evacuate Greek and Cypriot nationals, has entered the Nicosia FIR.
The embassy of Greece in Lebanon issued a statement through which it recommends Greek visitors to leave the country.
A fully equipped search and rescue team from the Fire Brigade left this morning, on a C-130 military aircraft, for Lebanon, on the orders of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in consultation with the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Chardalias, to participate in the search for survivors after the deadly explosion that occurred yesterday afternoon in the port of Beirut.
