Re-elected Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ Cabinet was announced on Monday afternoon, a day after the latter’s center-right New Democracy (ND) party won a landslide election – equaling its showing from a month ago, in a first May 21 ballot – and opened the way for the establishment of a majority government.

Cabinet Sworn In & Meets for First Time

The new members of the Greek cabinet arising after a sweeping government reshuffle were sworn in at the presidential mansion on Tuesday, in the presence of President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias and Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. Conducting the swearing-in ceremony was Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos.
