New traffic code and breathalyzer tests caused a plunge in consumption in nightclubs
Early in the morning, at a well-known dance floor in Athens, a group of ten people leave after paying around 1,000 euros for two premium bottles, a 1,750 ml vodka and a 750 ml gin. The first bottle is more than 2/3 full, while the second is almost full and looks as if it has not even been opened, a tangible example of what has been happening in recent months with alcohol consumption not only at bouzouki bars but also in clubs, bars and restaurants.
