The Minister of Infrastructure, Christos Spirtzis, announced the auctioning of the new double-rail line Rio-Agios Dionysios in Patras next January, after a meeting with the Mayor of Patras, Mr. Peliteidis. As noted, there was a commitment to laying the line underground and after a study carried out by ERGOSE it proved to be technically feasible.
