Research vessel Piri Reis is being closely monitored by the Greek Navy. The ship which is sailing in international waters west of Psara, following the NAVTEX issued by the neighboring country for investigations from October 4-14.

The Hellenic Navy frigate "Psarra" sailed into the Salamina naval base near Athens on Sunday, after concluding its stint in the European operation EUNAVFOR 'Aspides'.

In the early morning hours of July 7, the frigate PSARA (F-454)  participating in EUNAVFOR's Operation ASPIDES missions had its first engagement with Houthi air threats from areas of Yemen they control.
