According to the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Hellenic Navy General Staff chief Vice-Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Kataras came on board after the frigate's arrival at the base, accompanied by the Commander of the Fleet Vice-Admiral Polychronis Koulouris. He welcomed the captain and the crew home, congratulating them on the successful completion of their mission. The frigate shot down three Houthi drones, two using the Greek made jammer system.
The HN frigate "Spetsai" is expected to now set sail for the Red Sea within September in order to join the European operation EUNAVFOR "Aspides".
