The price of electricity on the Energy Exchange showed a leap of 39% to 334.43 euros per megawatt hour today, Monday, according to yesterday's closing of the daily market. This is one of the highest prices in recent months, a development that is interpreted as the result of the production mix.

The strategic investment in the green energy company GreenMet, formerly known as Greentech Minerals Holdings, was made by the Libra Group, an international business group whose subsidiaries have assets and activities in more than 50 countries.

Even higher increases in electricity prices would have been paid by consumers in December if it were not for Renewable Energy Sources.
