The Ministry of Culture, through the Ephorate of Antiquities of Preveza and the Directorate for the Restoration of Ancient Monuments, is proceeding with the restoration of the stage building and the backstage of the great theater in Ancient Nikopolis, including specific interventions in the overall plan to highlight the archaeological site.

The contract for the restoration of the summer palace in the former royal estates of Tatoi was signed yesterday between the Ministry of Culture and the consortium of companies ERETVO, ETVO and Nirikos Techniki, which was the only scheme that participated in the tender, with an offer of 11.5 million euros.

Aiming to preserve the cultural heritage of the Peloponnese and attract more visitors, the Greek Culture Ministry recently announced that it had secured funding, exceeding 16 million euros, for the preservation and restoration of four main sites in the region.
