Just before midnight on Saturday evening, April 11, clergy and faithful gathered at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York, New York for the Service of the Resurrection, Orthros, and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy of Great and Holy Pascha. Presiding over the service, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America was joined by Cathedral Dean the V. Rev. Archimandrite Chrysostomos Gilbert.

The circular, issued with the signature of the Protosyggelos of the Archdiocese and Archimandrite Barnabas, Theocharis, has been sent to all churches and monasteries.

Easter was different in Greece, this year, with Greeks spending the holiday away from churches and the usual extended family gatherings.
