Α 6.7 Richter earthquake off Samos, a little after noon, caused material damage to houses.
A total of 23 people, including several migrants arrested on Monday, were held as of Tuesday for violent incidents in April 26 and 27 at the refugee reception and identification center at Vathi, Samos, which resulted in the burning down of part of the asylum seekers' camp there, local police reported on Tuesday.
The closed and controlled refugee facility at Zervos on the island of Samos will be ready in a few months, and be occupied by migrants currently at the open asylum-seekers' facility in Vathy, the capital, will will shut down, Migration & Asylum Minister Notis Mitarakis said on Samos on Tuesday.
