A vessel of the Hellenic Center for Marine Research based in Crete will attempt to lift the fatal Mirage 2000-5 piloted by the late squadron leader  Giorgos Baltadoros, which is located on the seabed off of Skyros.

Thirty year old Giorgos Baltadoros is the pilot of the Mirage 2000-5 that was killed when it crashed into the sea nine nautical miles north-east of Skyros.

Remains of the body of Giorgos Baltadoros, the pilot of the fatal Mirage 2000-5 fighter jet that crashed into the Aegean Sea has been found.
