Out of the approximately 550 km of pipeline scheduled to be built on Greek soil, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline’s (TAP) contractors have already lowered 119 km of pipeline -or more than 20%- into the trench, the company said on Tuesday in a press release detailing the progress made.

Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) has selected a joint venture comprising of Italy’s Renco S.p.A and Greece’s Terna S.A. for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the project’s compressor stations, the company said in a press release on Wednesday.

In an official announcement, Ellaktor informed that the group’s construction arm Aktor, in a consortium with French Spiecapag, will construct the first part of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline in Northern Greece.
