Light quake jolts Zakynthos
An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale jolted at 01:41 on Friday the island of Zakynthos.

Coronavirus: Emergency measures announced for Achaia, Ilia and Zakynthos and dedicated Attica hospitals for virus treatment
According to the operation plan of the Greek health authorities, Pamakaristos Hospital will be converted into medical treatment spot only for patients diagnosed with Covid-19 infection in the 1st Health District of Attica. This is foreseen in the context of the strategic planning of the 1st EPA and the Ministry of Health.

Greek tourism organization reacts to German labeling of Zakynthos beach as Turkish
The immediate reaction of Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT) and its services, inside and outside Greece, was prompted by the inclusion of a photo from the Zakynthos shipwreck beach into a German travel agent's brochure advertising a trip to Turkey under the heading "Blue Trip to Turkey".
