Anti-terror squad police have arrested two men said to be close accomplices of Christodoulos Xiros - the former member of the November 17 terror group who was recently re-arrested a year after absconding from prison leave.
Prime Minister and New Democracy leader Antonis Samaras on Tuesday visited the western Greek city of Arta as part of his tour in Epirus. Samaras met city mayor Christos Tsirogiannis and discussed local issues, the development of the area and projects underway.
Retired Air Force officer Panagiotis Strantzalis was set free after posting bail of 15,000 euros, after his deposition to the investigator against corruption. He is accused of money laundering in the case of a purchase by the defense ministry of Super Puma helicopters.
