Turkish human traffickers opened fire with a firearm against a vessel of the Greek Port Authority off the area of Aghios Fokas, in the southern Lesvos island, on Saturday morning. No one was injured.

Four secondary schools, members of the International Schools Association (I.S.A.), will pay an educational visit to Lesvos, in the framework of the STEAM programme, with the cooperation of the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest. The schools participating in the educational programme are A'ksent Suisse International School, St. Catherine's Moorlands School, Nika School and Italo Calvino School.

The body of a crew member of the freighter 'Raptor' that sank off the island of Lesvos in the East Aegean early on Sunday was found by a nearby boat on Sunday afternoon, bringing the number of missing crew down to 12 after a survivor was rescued in the morning.
