The ongoing discussions on the problems of the Greek economy for the last three months and the entailing uncertainty have negative repercussions to growth and public deficit, European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Pierre Moscovici said during the presentation of European Commission's spring economic outlook.

The government is waiting for the name of a minister said to have siphoned 80,000 euros out of Greece to an account in Luxembourg in March.

The average primary monthly pension in Greece stands at 664.69 euros before taxes, whereas the average supplementary pension is 168.40 euros a month, the leftist government announced on Monday.

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias on Monday advocated dialogue with Turkey but noted that there can be no solution for Cyprus until “the last boot has left the island.”
