A new smart-phone application is under construction, with the contribution of Macedonia-Thrace Ministry and the General Secretariat of Research and Technology, in order to promote tourism in Northern Greece.

Deputy Minister Giorgos Mavraganis signed a ministerial decision setting new rules for the circulation of cars by people who have a vehicle registered with a company in another member-state of the European Union, but reside in Greece.

A 4.8 magnitude earthquake occurred at about 7:03 on Wednesday morning, east of the island of Andros. The earthquake was felt as far away as Evia and Attica, as well as across the Aegean islands.
