Household needs solutions in Nevada Greek American Navy veteran's demise

Family and friends members knew Charlie Demos as a proud Greek-American, good father, army veteran and prosecuting lawyer who practiced regulation for fifty six years in Florida.

Speak about sturdy inventory. Demos was born into an immigrant family in 1926 in Trenton, N.J. His household ran a Greek diner referred to as the Bordertown Bar & Grill whereas he was in highschool earlier than he joined the U.S. Navy in 1944. He was the type of man who embraced life and was passionate concerning the significance of creating a contribution.

And though 2015 discovered him up in years at age 88, he deserved a greater destiny than his "premature and preventable dying" in April because of contracting Legionnaires' illness on the Nevada State Veterans House in Boulder Metropolis. By way of lawyer Martin Little, a grievance and sophistication motion lawsuit was filed in District Courtroom in December on behalf of the Demos property and household that accuses Nevada Division of Veteran Providers Administrator Mark McBride of failing to "implement a correct program for the prevention, detection, or management of legionella micro organism and the prevention of Legionnaires' Illness."
