Maria Menounos marries live on television

The couple arranged a surprise wedding in Times Square during Fox’s New Year’s Eve broadcast co-hosted by Menounos and Steve Harvey.

“Finally some good news for mom!” the Greek American beauty wrote under her Instagram video.

“We are getting married tonight in Times Square! I will be the coldest bride ever but the happiest! Seeing my parents happy means everything!”

Her co-presenter and long time friend officiated the wedding and Menounos’ parents Constantine and Litsa were next to the newlyweds as well.

Marrying the man of her life meant a great deal to the TV presenter who experienced the toughest year of her life, undergoing a seven-hour surgery to remove a brain tumour the size of a golf ball back in July.

Moreover, Menounos’ mother, Litsa, is also currently fighting stage four brain cancer and seeing her daughter finally take this step comes as a great boost of courage and happiness.
