The Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, addressed a dinner in Washington, organized in his honor by representatives of Greek-American organizations, shortly before returning to Greece.

In the presence of the American Archbishop Elpidoforos, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Menendez, Kyriakos Mitsotakis stressed, among other things, that the government will not stop trying until Greece becomes the modern state it deserves to be, which something of benefit to everyone.

The Greek Prime Minister reiterated that during his meeting with Joe Biden he had the opportunity to emphasize the importance of bilateral relations within the framework of the new energy architecture in the Eastern Mediterranean, where our country is now becoming a gateway to Europe for its natural gas.
