Greek Americans are set to take office in the House of Representatives after the US elections.
Donald Trump has achieved an impressive victory over Kamala Harris for the US presidency. Trump declared his victory in front of his supporters in Florida, promising a "golden age" for America, while Harris' representatives brought down the curtain on the planned celebrations at Howard University in Washington, with the vice president retiring to her home, SkyNews reported.
The Senate is expected to be majority-held by Republicans, while the House of Representatives is also expected to remain in the hands of the Republican Party.
Greek Americans Winning a Seat in Congress
Candidates of Greek descent have successfully contested, as everything seems, a seat in the House of Representatives.

Democrat Chris Pappas is the winner in New Hampshire's 1st congressional district.

His paternal great-grandfather was named Arthur Pappas and arrived in New Hampshire as a new American citizen in the early 20th century, having immigrated from Greece.
Margaret Vivian Goodlander, born November 4, 1986, is an American lawyer and politician, currently elected as the United States Representative from New Hampshire's 2nd congressional district and a member of the Democratic Party. This is her first appearance and she is not particularly well-known to the general Greek-American public, but she has revealed that she is of Greek descent. Goodlander, who has roots in the village of Avdella near Grevena, stated in an interview with the newspaper "Kathimerini" that she intends to contribute to the deepening of Greek-American relations. She began her career working as a foreign policy advisor in the United States Senate, then served as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserve for over a decade.

His district includes much of the northern Tampa Bay area. Billirakis was born in Gainesville, Florida, and raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida, the son of Evelyn (née Miaoulis) and Michael Billirakis. He lives in Palm Harbor and is the grandson of Greek immigrants. His grandfather owned a local bakery, where Gus worked as a child.

In Nevada, Greek-American Dina Titus is running for re-election in the 1st district, against her Republican opponent, Mark Robertson, and everything indicates that she will prevail, at least according to what the ballot box shows at 86% of the integration. Born in Georgia to parents of Greek origin and a family with a political past, Dina Titus has represented Nevada's 1st congressional district since 2013.
Former CNN anchor John Avlon, originally from Corfu and Samos, was defeated on Tuesday night in his candidacy to represent the 1st district of the New York Congress in the House of Representative
